Distribution of awareness and skill enhancement training certificates 2017, for the reduction of road accidents, Assistant Director BRTA, Magura. Road accidents have occurred in Bangladesh in the last few years, significant highway accidents have occurred. A study conducted by the BUET Accident Research Center said that 35,000 people died due to road accident claiming an average of 12,000 lives. According to the World Bank statistics, the annual death rate from road accidents is found to be 85.6 per 10,000 deaths per 10,000 vehicles. So the road in Bangladesh has become deadly. But these figures can be like minority abuse, failing to reflect the social tragedy of life lost in road accidents. In my memory, there was an accident again in July, after the death of 44 schoolgirls, after the truck, they traveled to Skid and fell into a pond. Due to reckless driving, 44 lost the dream and hope. Just a month after this tragedy, two other Bangladeshi nationals, filmmaker Tarek Masud and journalist Mishuk Munir died in another road accident in August. We were amazed at the people, became angry and many of the street protesters were suppressed to take immediate steps to strengthen security in the streets and to ensure safety in the streets. But from a daily newspaper quoted at the beginning, one might see that the latest death rate has not shown any progress.
