For the purpose of reducing the number of road accidents, the discussion meeting was held in 2017, the chief guest was Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, the deputy commissioner, Magura. All of them talk about what can be done to reduce the road accidents at that discussion meeting. The main issues were: the driver would not refrain from using the mobile phone in the moving car. Keep the driver steady. Overtaking does not overtaking prohibited places. More than 5 hours continuous and no more than eight hours drive in the day. The fatal faulty bus in the outer shiny lining on the long distance route is running with fitness certificates of BRTA. As a result of these accidents, more casualties are happening than usual. Road safety researcher and professor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) at the auditorium of the Daily Star Building on Thursday informed about the road safety.
